Intelligent Parking System based on Computer Vision using License Plate Recognition and CCTV

As the Technical Project Lead, I led the end-to-end development and delivery of an AI-powered Intelligent Parking solution as part of the HBOX product. The system leverages computer vision to automatically detect and recognize vehicle license plates, enabling seamless integration with mechanical gate systems for fully automated entry and exit.

My role covered the entire project lifecycle, from analyzing RFP requirements and preparing technical proposals to leading the engineering team and maintaining direct communication with the client. I was also hands-on in development, implementing the interface between the Python-based AI module and the PLC system to ensure reliable real-time control of the gate mechanism.

The final solution significantly improved parking efficiency by reducing manual intervention, minimizing wait times, and delivering a smooth and secure user experience.
